In my spare time I really enjoy intense mountain walks around the Cape, regular gym training and swimming. I believe in living a healthy, active lifestyle - and also enjoy reading, cooking and spending quality time with family and close friends.


Fred is a professional Executive Coach and facilitator based in Cape Town, South Africa. He combines a solid academic record with real life experience to facilitate development and performance in the work environment. He believes in the value of empowering individuals and encouraging each person to take charge of their lives and careers, manage change and perform at their best. His work experience includes five years teaching mainly business English in Japan after graduating from UCT in 1985 - and twelve years as a senior treasury dealer in banking. Fred has been coaching individuals and groups full-time since June 2004 – logging more than 4750 hours by July 2019. He communicates well at all levels, in both English and Afrikaans (77% and 23% respectively of clients coached to date), and is an effective motivator without losing sight of the practical steps required to achieve both personal and organisational goals.
