What is our 360 Feedback Exercise?
  • An assessment of Leadership style.
  • Uses a customised 360° Feedback survey of ±60 statements to be rated - as well as an opportunity to comment on strengths and development areas.
  • Is based on an Emotional Intelligence framework.
  • Each leader or manager is rated by at least 6 people familiar with their behaviour at work. (Self, Line Manager, 2 Peers and 2 Subordinates.) Ensures relatively accurate/credible data.
  • Feedback is anonymous – which improves the quality and value of the information collected.
  • Confidential nature of the 360 Feedback exercise elicits generally honest/accurate feedback from those working with each person.
Aims of 360 Feedback Exercises include:
  • Providing accurate and relevant input for leadership and management development initiatives.
  • Creating awareness and educating all participants regarding desired leadership behaviour at an organisation.
  • Aligning leadership behaviour with the core values of an organisation.
  • Rating present leadership behaviour – and providing guidelines regarding desired future behaviour.
  • Supporting change management initiatives.
Benefits of a 360 Feedback exercise include:
  • Raises awareness of how leaders come across to others - which enables them to exercise greater choice about how they behave, i.e. it empowers.
  • Educational/Informative. It raises awareness in organisations of the kind of behaviour to strive for in order to be aligned with the organisation’s core values – and be effective leaders.
  • Develops a common language around leadership behaviour and development.
  • Provides everyone completing surveys with an opportunity to communicate their views and contribute towards the development of a more effectively managed and lead organisation.
  • Provides overall feedback to HR and/or other key stakeholders about general development themes that may need to be addressed.
